History is derived from a Greek word that means to inquire, or investigation. This is what The Living History Group provides. A group of professionals that can inquire and investigate in order to provide you with the educational product you need.
Our mission is to bring history alive in new and exciting ways as it relates to historic sites, museums, schools, and other related educational institutions. This can range from project managing the design and installation of museums exhibits; the restoration of historic buildings; researching historical topics and/or individuals; to the writing & producing of historical documentaries, historical technical advising; and the design of an interactive web site.
We also offer consulting services to historic sites and educational institutions that are looking to begin or expand their mission in new and exciting ways. We can help you find that vision, bring it into focus, and make a solid strategic plan on how to obtain it. For schools in South Carolina and the Georgia Lowcountry, we offer in-school curriculum based social studies programs for all grade levels.
